Science on Tap features College of STEM faculty presenting fascinating topics to the community. Attendees have the opportunity to learn from experts in their field while engaging in thought-provoking discussion while enjoying delicious local brews and food at Strawberry Alley. It's a free event for all ages, offering an engaging platform for researchers, faculty, and science enthusiasts to share their passion and knowledge with the public.

The March 2026 Science on Tap presentation will be "Impacts of a Shrinking Forest Canopy and Solutions for Restoring Our Urban Trees," a panel discussion with Dr. Chris Gentry (Associate Dean of the College of STEM), Wes Powell (APSU Director of Landscape and Grounds), Kathrine Killebrew (City of Clarksville City Forester) and Michelle Rogers (Austin Peay Principal Investigator in the Center of Excellence for Field Biology, Instructor of Biology and Vice President - Chair of Outreach and Education Committee for Replant Clarksville).

Science on Tap takes place every first Tuesday of the month during the academic year. The event, held upstairs at Strawberry Alley Ale Works in downtown Clarksville, begins at 5:30 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m.
