About Us
Social work is far more expansive than common stereotypes suggest. Social workers serve in a wide range of settings, including courts, schools, hospitals, law enforcement agencies, veterinary practices, probation services, nonprofit organizations, geriatric care facilities, mental health services, human resources departments, and forensic environments, among many others. Their work is rooted in advocacy, compassion, and meaningful impact across diverse communities. The Social Work Club is a community of dedicated, big-hearted individuals who are passionate about creating positive change. We participate in fundraisers and community events, and we also host programs designed to educate, support, and inspire. The Social Work Club is open to students of all majors. Whether you are interested in strengthening your résumé, earning service hours, networking with professionals, engaging in thoughtful dialogue, or participating in purposeful programming, we welcome you. We invite you to join us at our next meeting and follow us on social media to stay connected.
