Middle TN Letterpress Symposium - O'Connell + Wasnewksy

Cory Wasnewsky has been a printer, designer, and press mechanic at Hatch Show Print a since 2014. Cory also runs Three Cheers Press, a small letterpress print shop based in Nashville, TN specializing in letterpress printed goods. Cory has shown work extensively across Middle Tennessee and the Boston area, as well as showing in Virginia, New York City, Wisconsin, and Australia.

Kathleen O’Connell is an educator, printmaker, book artist, type and lettering enthusiast, mother, perpetual organizer, and former ferry boat deckhand—all of which inform her artworks and artistic practice. She works and exhibits nationally and internationally. Her artwork is part of the collection of the University of California–Berkeley, University of Wisconsin–Madison, Vanderbilt University, and Yale, among others. Kathy teaches Book Arts, Letterpress and Print Media courses at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
