The Accounting Society at Austin Peay is an accounting-focused organization open to all APSU students. Throughout each semester, ASAP offers professional speakers from different industries of business as well as interview-prep, resume-building, and tutoring workshops to allow students to access a wealth of resources, connect with industry professionals, and build a solid foundation for their future. The Accounting Society at Austin Peay is designed for business students to get involved at Austin Peay while also providing an excellent catalyst for personal and professional growth as they begin their professional careers.

The Adult, Nontraditional & Transfer Student* Center (ANTS Center) is a welcoming space that celebrates adult, non-traditional, and transfer students while remaining open to all students at Austin Peay State University. The center is a place to lounge, study, or engage, designed with real student lives in mind.

Students who stop by the ANTS Center can receive academic and career resources, campus navigation support, connect with peers, or simply take a break between classes and responsibilities.

The center offers comfortable lounge areas; tables for studying or gathering; a conference table, large whiteboard, and printing access; along with a lactation space and a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. The space is also family-friendly, featuring the ANT Farm, a designated play center for students with children.

*What is an Adult or Nontraditional student?
An adult or nontraditional student is not defined only by age, they are also students with life circumstances different from the typical traditional student. These circumstances include, but are not limited to:
- Delayed Enrollment: Did not enter postsecondary education in the same calendar year they finished high school.
- Financial Independence: Classified as independent for financial aid purposes
- Part-Time Enrollment: Attends college part-time for at least part of the academic year.
- Full-Time Work: Works full-time (35+ hours per week) while enrolled.
- Dependents: Has dependents other than a spouse, such as children or elderly family members.
- Caregiver Status: Is a single parent or primary caregiver.
- Age: Often 25 or older

Common ANTS:
- Adult Learners: Returning to finish a degree or starting for the first time later in life.
- Career Switchers: Pursuing new skills to change industries.
- Military Veterans: Transitioning from service to civilian education.
- First-Generation Students: The first in their family to attend college.

The ANTS Center hosts monthly social, academic, and career readiness programs, often in collaboration with campus partners and stakeholders. Programs are designed to be accessible, flexible, and responsive to students’ real lives and goals that support student success.

Advocates For Autism aims to create acceptance beyond what is often referred to as “awareness” and to educate the campus about autism and the experiences of individuals with autism. We provide an inclusive environment for students who have an official autism diagnosis but also welcome those who identify closely with the characteristics and may not have a diagnosis on paper. Beyond that, we welcome students who would like to learn more about people with autism and those who serve as allies. Advocates For Autism hosts social and educational events to expand beyond the stereotypical view of what it means to be autistic.

Alpha Delta Pi is one of the six National College Panhellenic sororities here on campus. Alpha Delta Pi was founded by six strong women on May 15, 1851 at the Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. The slogan, "Be the First," comes from being the first founded secret society for women. The Eta Gamma Chapter of Eta Gamma was founded in November 1983 at Austin Peay State University. In ADPi, there is always a sister willing to support and we strive to live out our open motto of “We Live For Each Other.” Our colors are azure blue and white representing friendship, sincerity, and truth. Our national philanthropy is the Ronald McDonald House Charities and our local philanthropy is Camp Rainbow of Clarksville. Being a member of ADPi means being a part of a sisterhood with true and loyal women who value Sisterhood, Service, Knowledge, and Character. This comes from a line of our Creed, "strengthening character and personality, watching attitudes toward fellow beings, recognizing the value of high educational standards, and developing faith and loyalty." As students of Austin Peay State University, we recognize the importance of following this line of the Creed to bring a positive and impactful presence on campus. Furthermore, our bonds of sisterhood remain after graduation because being a member of Alpha Delta Pi is not four years, it is for life.

Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on a promise to serve not only one another but the greater community as well. This commitment reflects a philosophy of friendship, concern, and usefulness in the world. The promise to serve can be seen in the relationships within a collegiate or alumnae chapter as they work together to help a sister or as they contribute to the AOII Foundation to enable scholarships and aid to other members. In addition, AOIIs exhibit their commitment to be servant leaders as they participate in a project that raises funds for AOII’s philanthropy, arthritis research and the American Juvenile Arthritis Organization.

We are the Non-Traditional Honor Society at Austin Peay State University focusing on the accomplishments of non-traditional students. Our members are sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the top 20% of their class. Alpha Sigma Lambda is the oldest and largest established society for adult learners. Our Chapter is Alpha Theta Psi.

Through ASL, two of members are eligible to apply for scholarships up to $2000, awarded annually through the National Organization. Through this social network, there are employment opportunities, networking, and other benefits.

This is Austin Peay's first honor society for non-traditional students and APSU recognizes the challenges those students encounter. Austin Peay has over 40% non-traditional students.

Alpha Tau Omega is America’s Premiere Leadership Development Fraternity. The Eta Tau chapter at APSU is an award winning chapter known for its continued dedication to excellence and character building for young men. ATO’s philanthropic preeminence is clear, in 2022 alone ATO has donated $15,000 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. This event known as Jump for Jude has raised more funds than any other Greek Organization on campus. ATO also prides itself in athletic superiority as we have been victors of multiple intermural competitions as well as being back to back intermural football champions. We are very active around campus and participate in every APSU social event allowing us to have greater influence within the campus community. The APSU Grappling Club is a student-run organization dedicated to promoting the art and sport of grappling, focusing on Jui-Jitsu and Wrestling. Our club provides an inclusive environment for students of all skill levels, whether you're a beginner eager to learn or an experienced grappler looking to refine your techniques.

We offer regular training sessions to build fundamental skills, improve physical fitness, and develop mental toughness. Members will learn essential grappling techniques, strategies, and principles while building discipline and confidence.

The APSU Grappling Club also offers opportunities for competition and personal growth, encouraging members to challenge themselves through friendly sparring, drills, and participation in local tournaments. Our goal is to create a tight-knit community of individuals who are passionate about grappling and committed to their development both on and off the mat.
