GOVing Tuesday: Support Short-Term Calculators at the Woodward Library

This GOVing Tuesday, the Woodward Library is inviting our community to help launch a short-term calculator loan program. This initiative focuses on a simple tool that creates real academic impact. Many APSU courses require a TI-84 calculator, yet not every student can afford one or access a semester-long loan. A short-term option gives students what they need for exams, quizzes, and brief assignments without added financial stress.

Your support will allow the Library to purchase 25 TI-84 Plus CE calculators for short-term checkout. Even a single loan can support a student through a challenging exam or an important assignment.

Every contribution strengthens student success and helps remove barriers to learning. If we exceed our goal, additional funds will benefit the Library Fund of Excellence, which supports services and resources across the entire Library.
