Cart Reservation Process
Individuals may request the Mobile Sensory Cart through the Full Spectrum Learning Govs Connect page.
Requests should be submitted at least 3 business days in advance to ensure proper coordination, communication, and access. Cart can be checked out for up to three days at a time.
The Mobile Sensory Cart can be picked up and returned in the Library, Room 118, Monday–Thursday from 8:30 AM–4:00 PM when the university is open. All use is by reservation only.
A brief orientation for appropriate use will be provided for all users. This will include a recorded video shared with each reservation outlining:
To ensure the sustainability and accessibility of the cart for all users, departments and organizations are expected to return the cart in its original condition, with all items accounted for and organized appropriately. Any missing or damaged items should be reported upon return.
The Mobile Sensory Cart is designed to support a wide range of students, including (but not limited to) autistic students, students with ADHD, anxiety, sensory sensitivities, and any student seeking additional support to remain engaged and regulated. One cart has enough materials for anywhere between 5 and 20 students at a time.
Use of the cart should always reflect respect and student choice.
